The wealth of content and addictive nature of collecting loot and replaying levels with increased challenge make Victor Vran highly recommended for action RPG fans.

Victor Vran is, beyond doubt, one of the most well-made and entertaining indie games of this year. It may not be the most profound or stat heavy action-RPG ever made but it has a lot of content, it is highly addictive, and shuns conventions of the genre for some interesting concepts of its own.

Victor Vran is a fresh breeze in the world of Dungeon Crawlers. The improved control of the character and the weapon-system gives it a unique feel, despite the generic levels and enemies.

This side of Sanctuary it doesn’t get much better than this. Victor Vran blurs the lines between hack & slash and action adventure, delivering a very unique experience. Unfortunately it suffers from a generic art design and the preset character development.

A solid, long-lived and intense action RPG, with some interesting introduction in gameplay and a good level design.

A limp story and weak jokes are worth putting up with for Victor Vran’s great combat system.

For fans of the genre, VV is a must-play, as it has refreshing ideas that are implemented well. If not for what feels like padding, this game would appropriately find itself shoulder-to-shoulder with the titans of the genre.

Victor Vran offers motivating and dynamic battles and it's twice the fun in co-op mode.

Victor Vran is an isometric action-RPG with an original and a unique taste. The story is immersive, and overall it's a good game that deserves a try.

I was hoping for more depth and permanence in the skill system like you might find in more traditional RPGs, but I can appreciate the choices the developers made given the core mechanic of the game: fast-paced combat with a variety of weapons and enemies.

As far as Diablo clones go, it isn’t of the same calibre as Path of Exile due to its rather simplistic nature and the overabundance of the six primary enemy types, but it does feature some neat gameplay twists of its own. It’s worth a look if you are starved of action RPGs, with the emphasis on action.

It’s splashy and accessible, but intricate and skill-based. It’s alternately frantic and methodical. You can just plow through it mindlessly or you can optimize your character build and hone your favorite gear. You can tweak the difficulty as you go, keep it breezy, or crank it up to 11. Explore the wide-openness or follow the main quest marker to the end. But if you’re into action RPGs, whether you’re a Sacred 2 fanatic or Diablo III weekender or someone in between, Victor Vran is a name worth noting.

If you’re a fan of isometric RPGs and action, I think the choice is pretty clear, we have a winner.

The latest game from Haemimont Games is based on the tradition of Diablo and fulfills the requirements for the high-quality action RPG. It is unable to beat reigning Diablo, but the last Van Helsing was beaten easily.

A streamlined action RPG with the emphasis placed firmly on the action.

LEVEL (Czech Republic) September 15, 2015
Above average Diablo-like game with comics visuals succeeded to get over the genre and story clichés and a story to bring a great concept of RPG elements and a rewarding replayability.

The gameplay, graphics, characters, story, and music come together to make a really enjoyable experience.

Not only is this budget hack’n’slash a quality game, but it also introduces to the genre a small but refreshing novelty – the ability to jump over obstacles and bounce off walls to reach areas inaccessible to typical Diablo slayers.

An original hack 'n' slash that goes for a different approach. It works, even if it's more limited than many of its predecessors. This game has a decently deep system and great fighting, and represents a great start for Haemimont Games.

Victor Vran is a very competent and solid game that dungeon crawling ARPG fans should not miss.
