In Wipeout: The Game, players prove they have what it takes to make it to the grand finale "Wipeout Zone" for their chance to be proclaimed champion. Four players can compete at the same time, even allowing them to hurl objects at and taunt their opponents. The video game features everything that people love about the hit ABC show, including commentary from the show's hosts, John Anderson, John Henson and co-host Jill Wagner. Players have to run, jump and dodge all of Wipeout's various obstacles, including the brutal Sucker Punch, the beloved Big Balls, and the insanely difficult Sweeper. [Activision]

Wipeout also tries to get you to pony up for premium currency, but it's not a free game to begin with. Most of the game is open to you regardless, but panhandling in a paid app is always a little off-putting.

Whether you're a fan of the show or not, you'll have plenty of fun with Wipeout. It's a solid platformer that can be extremely challenging, but also good for a laugh.

Ultimately, Wipeout is a thoroughly enjoyable game. Players are sure to have fun diving, running and falling all the way to the finish line. The Game Center integration, when combined with the competivie nature of Wipeout, is sure to keep players occupied even when they've finished unlocking all the items.
