The best fantasy RPG on Xbox 360. The awesome atmosphere, the epic and adult storyline, the beautiful graphics and the clever gameplay are enough to turn this masterpiece into a must buy.

Porting such a colossal game as The Witcher 2 on the 360 was no easy task. CD Projekt rose to the challenge nonetheless and succeeded. Even though it's less detailed and delicate than on the PC, the 360 port remains visually stunning. The game itself is as good as ever, better even, with its buffed up third act and revised endings. Unmissable for any RPG fan.

The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition is one of the most engaging and immersive games of this console generation, drawing players into a complex narrative, full of character, an excellent script and a rich gaming environment.

Despite the constant worry of carrying too much loot around, and even with some small interface issues, The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition is a marvelous game. It's more focused and has a vastly superior combat model than Skyrim, is more realized and contains better writing than Dragon Age, and treats sex like a mature theme and not a juvenile goal. It's not to be missed.

This is simply one of the most singular and enthralling RPG experiences in years, and it should be played by pretty much anyone willing to hold a controller.

A perfect conversion of the extraordinary RPG didn't lose any of its appeal and gamepad controls added an even better feel.

The 360 version may not be the pinnacle version, but it's done well enough that there's no significant detriment to tarnish the experience the developers originally intended.

If you want to be shown how a PC port should be done, then look no further than The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

The Witcher 2 continues to be a colossal creative and technical achievement and the superb 360 version only confirms the excellence CD Projekt's craft. Console users get a fantastic version of a fantastic game, while the PC users get a great patch that improves and enhances the experience of the original, a perfect excuse to return as The White Wolf and to live his adventure from a new perspective.

Its weighty combat, difficult choices with real consequences, and fascinating storylines are some of the best gaming has ever seen. I can no longer lord it over the console masses with this one, though, because this long-in-development Xbox 360 port is just as amazing as the original. It's actually better than it was at launch...

The Witcher 2 on the X360 is a masterpiece. It's easy to prey on the developers that are unable to create a good port of an original game, but that's not the case. I don't have to be patriotic to see the gigantic amount of work the authors have done - I have seen this port in action almost a year ago and I was far from being ecstatic.

The Witcher 2: Assassin's of Kings Enhanced Edition is not a perfect game as the title does contain some graphical clipping, a few bugs and some truly frustrating moments such as over the top boss battles (depending on difficulty) and of course the horrible inventory system. However, thankfully the pros more than outweigh the cons in this title which creates one of the best RPG experiences on the XBox 360.

Much like its protagonist, Assassins of Kings stands in defiant contrast to the crowd, but in doing so CD Projekt RED has come away with a product that appeals on many different levels – a strong draught of dialogue, action, and coordinated gameplay that ought to slake the hunger, thirst, and yearning loins of any lonesome traveller of the road.

This is simply the perfect edition of The Witcher 2. If you still don't have the original PC version, this is the right time to get it, and if you have an Xbox 360 in your home just run out to buy this wonderful RPG.

CD Projekt has achieved a great game, translating the essence of the excellent game they made for PC to Xbox 360, without diluting it in the proccess. It is one of the best games for the Xbox 360; it's deep, complex and mature, and very good news for RPG fans.

Looks and plays great on Xbox 360, too. Enhanced Edition updates round out the game nicely and add much needed new stuff to the previously pretty brief last chapter. Thankfully nothing has been censored for the consoles, and everything in the world is still as engaging and gritty as it should be. The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition is a serious contender for the best game of 2012.

Regardless of the game's quality when put side-by-side with its PC incarnation, however, The Witcher 2 on the 360 is definitely an incredibly well crafted and polished game with a few flaws that only rarely hinder the overall experience and prevent it from achieving perfection.

A brilliant game with deep gameplay, great graphics, a highly involving story and, mainly, it feels like a game conceived for consoles rather than as a PC port. Undoubtedly one of the best RPGs on Xbox 360.
