Andrzej sapkowski, speaking to French fantasy magazine Chimeres said that he has finished another Witcher book, even though he does not have any plans for what is next. He said: "I finished the book. It took me about two years, or something like that."
Season of Storms, published in 2013, is a continuation of the Witcher saga that Sapkowski began with The Lady of the Lake. The majority of the story takes place between the early short stories. Sapkowski said that he was not interested in expanding the timeline beyond what he had already established.
He said, "The story is finished," at the Warsaw Comic Con 2018. "The saga is over, so if I ever write anything in The Witcher Universe, which I do intend to, it will probably be a prequel or sidequel. Not a sequel."
The book will be published in Polish at the end of this year. An English translation is expected to follow in early 2025. The Witcher 4 is still in development by CD Projekt Red. Doug Cockle confirmed recently that he will be back to voice Geralt even though he won't the main character.
