The solid gameplay from the first game is there, and the game has more than enough modes to keep you entertained, but overall, WWF SmackDown! 2 is simply more of the same.

With new tag-team maneuvers that are remarkably easy to execute and more backstage areas than ever before, this is still the best PSOne wrestler and a great game for fans looking for something to play with their friends.

A great game, but having to stand around backstage and watch the other characters perform is maddening. I guess that's what any rookie wrestler goes through.

The custom options are outstanding and there's tons of hidden stuff to find. The only real drawback are the painfully long loading times.

With more than 50 WWF superstars, a fantastic array of matches, and unparalleled, blisteringly fast gameplay, it's the only squared-circle brawler you need to buy. Anything else, especially the horrendous "WCW Backstage Assault," isn't worth your time.
