Amazon's Secret Level confirms the previously leaked cast, which includes former Governor of California and killer robot Arnold Schwarzenegger

If you've been keeping up with the news about Amazon Secret Level, an anthology of animated short videogames put together by the people who made Love, Death + Robots, you might have seen a brief leak on the internet.

The project's cast was also revealed in the leaked trailer. It reportedly showed an unfinished version for several of these shorts. This has now been confirmed by official channels. A New York Comic Con panel was held (via Variety). Here's the complete roster:

The list is a star-studded one, if I may say so. Kevin Hart, who is not too traumatized by the Borderlands film, seems to be determined to make his way in the gaming industry. I'm not quite sure how I feel about Laura Bailey being the only voice actor, but it is still impressive.

The most fascinating part of the movie is Arnold Schwarzenegger. We all know him as Terminator. While he has appeared in movie videogames before, mostly movie tie-ins, he was probably obligated to do so by contract. His relationship with the medium has been turbulent to say the least.

Schwarzenegger, who was California's Governor in 2005, tried to sign a bill that would prevent minors from renting or buying violent videogames. However, the bill was diluted by the time it was implemented. Instead of $1,000 fines, stores were required to properly label their violent videogames.

One can probably consider his attitude to be mellowed. After all, the satanic-panic style of fretting about violent videogames corrupting youth hasn't really manifested itself--Call of Duty lobbying notwithstanding. I'm excited to see who Arnie is voicing in Secret Level, and that Concord episode which I'm certain won't make anyone at Sony uncomfortable.
