Black Friday SSD Deals at less than $0.05 per GB

Black Friday is a great opportunity to buy a new SSD if you are running out of space for your modern games or if you're building your own system and haven't decided on your storage solution yet.

I just upgraded my gaming rig, and I had planned to install an extra SSD as soon as it arrived. If PC Gamer hardware lord Dave hadn't had an SSD lying around, I wouldn't have bought it until now.

You can get a SSD for as little as a few cents a GB. Choosing a SSD with a large amount of storage will help you save money. Buying a SSD with a higher capacity will also help to protect your system against future expansions of games. It's a good idea to have more storage than you need, as many games now go up to 100GB.

The Lexar NM790 is slightly more expensive per GB than the Lexar NM790. This is a great price-to-storage ratio on an SSD that we love.

This SSD has a read speed and a write speed of 7,400 MB/s. It loads Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers slightly slower than the Teamgroup Cardea A440, but at a fraction the price.

The Lexar NM790's solid speed is aided by its excellent cooling. A year after its release, it remains one of the best M.2 SSDs to use for gaming. The controller and flash (MaxioTech MAP1602A, and YMTC 232 layer LTC respectively) may be less well-known due to the NM790's budget-friendly price.

This SSD is a great option for those looking to upgrade their storage. However, if they plan to play even the most recent releases, it may be better to get something more substantial.

Tom's Hardware may not be familiar with Silicon Power, but they are impressed by this SSD. It's fast enough for a Steam Library expansion, but costs just four cents per gigabyte. It's not, however, the fastest SSD available.

Amazon $92.97

This SSD is the cheapest you can find in this price range. However, it will not be the fastest. It's not as fast as more expensive drives, but it is still a good SSD.

This Gen 4 M.2 is capable of playing any SSD-required games. The large storage capacity makes it a great option for a quick upgrade.

It is the most affordable SSD on the market and it is also very power-efficient. However, it can get a bit hot when in use. Its downsides do not stop it from being an excellent recommendation for any system that is running out of storage.

This SSD is a great alternative to our previous pick. It uses well-known components like a Micron flash chip and a Phison controller. This saves money by not using DRAM, and the speeds are more than sufficient for gaming.

This Silicon Power drive is not the fastest, but with so much storage at this price it's hard to argue. It's not slow, but it isn't fast either. With sequential read/write speeds of 5,000 MB/s & 4,500 MB/s it should be good enough for gaming.

This SSD is the same as the previous choice but with twice the storage. Our 4 TB model offers less value for money, but still comes in at $0.04/GB. You might choose this option if you're able to see yourself using up 2 TB and don't want to upgrade at a later time.

This SSD is so large that you can just plug it in and forget about it. You'll need to save 3.5 TB of data before you have to worry about managing your storage.

You can store 21 copies of Baldur’s Gate 3 and still have room for God of War Ragnarok. Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl. Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Read Dead Redemption 2. Horizon Forbidden West.
