Click Click Dig has released a new demo, and it looks like something you'd enjoy. Your little guy (Diggy) and his friends tunnel toward the center of different planets to find special and rare materials. You'll use special and rare materials to dig deeper and faster on more planets.
It's cute. The animations of the little guys are adorable. From the flopping fish to slimy slime, they're exactly the kind of characterful things you want in an idle or incremental video game.
You're used to the basic setup by now: Start off simple, with just you and two clicks, then hire assistants who will autoclick. Then unlock upgrades... then skins which are upgrades... upgrade shops... a system of research... crafting. It's all there, and so far, I like it.
The free prologue has its own unique world to dig into, which can take a few days or weeks depending on your idlers play style. It's nice that it's not all the systems in the game, and because it's a planet it looks like there will be different unlocks from the main game. This demo allows you to unlock some skins and items only available in the Prologue. These will be carried over into the main game, if you choose to play it.
Click Click Dig Prologue is available on Steam alongside Click Click Dig.
