Okay, I lied. I own more than 30 commander decks, but saying this out loud hurts me a bit. My favourite Magic: The Gathering format is Commander, where you build a 100-card deck around a single legendary card called your 'commander.'
It can be quite expensive. I often show up at tables where players are playing single cards that are worth more than the entire deck. One of my favorite things to play is with pre-constructed or budget decks. When you choreograph your play, I've found that most tables have decks to match. Cyber Monday offers some great deals on precons. They are strong enough to play at most tables, but cheap enough not to ruin the fun of a fantastic card game.

Graveyard Overdrive
Modern Horizons 3 is one of Magic: The Gathering's most expensive sets, and its MSRP reflects this. The two Modern Horizons decks we've highlighted from this set are the least popular, but this deck is still a good one that can compete with decks built by custom.
This deck, which is black, red and green, relies on you sending your own cards into the graveyard and then pulling them out to swarm at your opponents.

Disa the restless is the commander card, and she can bring Lhurgoyf creatures from your graveyard to the field. This deck sounds great, but it isn't as popular as you might expect because it doesn’t have as many Lhurgoyf creature cards.
You have a clear path to upgrade if you want to spend a few extra dollars on the deck, but it is capable and fun by itself once it gets started.
Creative Energy
Creative Energy is an excellent deck that focuses on creating and using power. It also has a subtheme of creating artifacts to take down your opponents in a choreographed attack. Creative Energy is a deck that you might enjoy if you like the idea storing energy to fire it in a kamehameha blast at your opponents.
The decks are premium, so $35 is a very reasonable price for cards of such high quality. The decklist of Creative Energy contains some expensive cards, like Akroma’s Will and Farewell. These cards are potential staples for their respective mana base. These cards are not worth selling as singles, but they're well worth it when on sale.
Satya, Aetherflux Genie, the face commander in this set, copies creatures when he strikes. Attacking creates energy. You can use this energy to build out your board. If your opponents don't pay attention to your board state, you can build an unstoppable force that will win the game in one go.
March of the Machines commanders

If you're looking to save money, buying 5 decks is a good idea. But this Cyber Monday deal offers $250 worth of decks just shy of $140. The black/white deck, a Phyrexian cat deck (Magic: the Gathering demons), is all about summoning Phyrexians and letting them die during combat. It also involves proliferating counters in order to kill your opponents.
The black/white/blue card is next, which is all about summoning a regal army and destroying your enemies.
The next set is the green/white/red one, which is based on a backup mechanic. This set attacks with multiple creatures and gives attack bonuses. This is weak alone, but when combined, it's strong.
The second deck is the white/red/blue one, which uses creatures to make spells cheaper.
The red/blue/green is a green deck that uses artifacts to create a board presence, and then overruns the other creatures.
