Dead Estate, the roguelike horror game, will receive its final update on October

The Goodnight Update will be released at the end October. The Halloween release is appropriate for the "gory fast-paced challenging rogue-like shooting game with a heavy focus on horror."

Milkbar Lads, the developer of Dead Estate, announced in a Steam update that after a year-long effort on this update they will finally be able share it with you on October 28th. "The Goodnight Update will be the last content update for Dead Estate ever, so we wanted to take our time and really go all-out with this one."

The Goodnight Update's highlight will be the new levels that form an alternate ending route, along with many new character outfits, items, and weaponry. It sounds like a fitting and massive update to send off a game that has been a constant in the action roguelike category since its full release in 2021.

"Goodnight includes four full-size levels, 70 new items, 30 new weapons, a set of new costumes, 10 challenges, mutations for Chunks, and many other small additions and changes. I don't want to reveal too many screenshots or videos of the update because I want it to be a surprise.

Dead Estate, first released in 2021 is a fast-paced and challenging shooter. It has a cartoonish personality, and you'll have to do a lot of dodging while loading your souped up shotgun. It's an incredibly modern roguelike, with many unlockables, secret areas, and alternate routes. It also has years of free updates. It plays well on Steam Deck.

Dead Estate is available on Steam for $15 and includes a demo, if that's your thing. Everyone likes them.
