Henry Cavill is a Space Marine 2 fan. 'I love the PvP, and I'm really looking forward to its expansion and growth'
Henry Cavill loves Warhammer, as you may have heard. He also enjoys video games. You won't be surprised that he has jumped into Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 and he seems to enjoy it.
Cavill wrote in his Instagram account, "This game is the mutt's ." "Seriously though, they've done quite well eh?" I couldn't finish the campaign in Angel of Death alone (or at least did not have patience to finish it myself!) Which I love!
"I love the PvP, and I'm looking forward to its growth and development. It has real potential to become absolutely awesome!" Disclaimer: I am not a game developer so my dreams may be difficult to achieve.
First things first. The "mutt" descriptor, as best I can put it together, is an abbreviated-for-politeness version of "the mutt's nuts," which I am informed by members of our UK team is a slightly-less-crude version of "the dog's bollocks," which I am further informed by members of our UK team is a bit of slang used to describe something that's really good. It's not like there was any doubt, given the rest Cavill's blog post. But it's always better to be certain.
Cavill's performance on Space Marine 2, the hardest difficulty, was a great way to show off his gaming skills. Many people wondered what it would be to have him randomly appear in their group. His username is nondescript, but other clues are there: "This guy talking in my group sounds an awful lot like Eisenhorn," wrote one person, referring to the WH40K character Gregor Eisenhorn who Cavill has previously expressed a desire to play in a series.
Other people following Cavill zoomed out to get a closer look at Cavill’s dog. The dog seems to be having a good time and is completely unconcerned about the whole situation. The mutt is nuts.
At least one request has been made to include him in the game. This is not unprecedented. Creative Assembly incorporated Cavill's work into Total War: Warhammer 2 by 2020, just a few years after he revealed that he had spent some of his Covid-19 quarantine painting Warhammer minis.
Saber Interactive has already begun thinking about a Space Marine 2 DLC or sequel. But I think his hands are full right now: He's leading a new Warhammer 40k cinematic universe with Games Workshop and Amazon Studios. He called this job "the greatest honor of my professional life" earlier this year.
