November is a tough month for PC gamers who are looking to make their next purchase. We don't like to rush into things when Black Friday is coming up at the end the month. But we also don’t want great deals to be missed. I know that I would be in a similar situation if I was looking for a new gaming computer right now.

We did see an RTX Super PC sell for $100 less than this on October Prime Day. It was a great price, and it was so rare that I was genuinely surprised. You never know if it will be available at that price on Black Friday. This Yeyian Tato build is currently available for $1,200 on Newegg.

It's still within a price range where most gaming computers have an RTX 4160 Ti graphics card installed, not even an RTX 4700. Even if we ignore the discounts, the RTX 4070 is still the only high-end graphics card of the current generation that's affordable to more than a few people.

What if you put that in a fully-built rig, and then apply a discount that brings it up to just over $1,000? Yeah, I'm not sure if I'd wait until Black Friday.

Tanto is not without its flaws. It has only 16 GB RAM and is not the fastest DDR5 on the market. The Core i5-13400F is not a good choice for heavy productivity tasks. It's great for everyday use, and we rate it the best budget chip for gaming.

The GPU is the most important thing for gaming. A $1,200 RTX Super gaming PC sounds good to me. There's nothing more to say.
