Last week, a rumor surfaced suggesting that LEGO and Sony have teamed up once again to create a new project based on the Horizon series. The name of this project has now emerged: LEGO Horizon Adventures.
According to sources cited by journalist Tom Henderson, the collaboration will result in a full-fledged game rather than another construction set. The game is described as Horizon Forbidden West in a LEGO format, featuring "realistic graphics." It appears that the virtual LEGO bricks will be hard to distinguish from real ones.
Henderson also mentioned that a promotional trailer for LEGO Horizon Adventures was completed a month ago, indicating that an official announcement is imminent. The game might be revealed at Sony's upcoming presentation in May, which, though not officially announced, is widely rumored among journalists and insiders. Henderson himself believes the speculation about an imminent PlayStation Showcase to be credible.
Previously, LEGO released a set featuring a Tallneck from Horizon, which also included small models of a Watcher and the protagonist, Aloy.
