MSI has released a slew of horribly ugly hardware to celebrate the upcoming release of Stalker 2.

Stalker was one of the first games I bought for my PC. It took me a long time to get through the jank with a second-hand Ryzen chip equipped with an integrated GPU, but the effort was worth it. MSI's Stalker 2 hardware is ugly, but in a good way. It also comes with the game.

The Stalker 2 themed RTX 4070 Ti Super is perhaps the most bizarre piece of hardware to customize. It has the iconic post-nuclear green and yellow aesthetic that the series is famous for, with a large nuclear sign in the center. The MSI logo is on the right, and the name of the video game is on the left. This is not a blatantly branded product, even though it may go unnoticed on most rigs. This is $50 over the MSRP of $850, but includes a deluxe version of the game.

If you're looking for something to show off, there are also three peripherals that have been announced. The first is the MSI Force Pro Wireless Controller, designed for Xbox. The RGB lighting in the sticks, and the yellow buttons on the central button are the most colourful parts of the controller. You can also get a version of MSI Center with a Stalker 2 interface. This is in addition to the standard edition of the Stalker 2 game. I haven’t been able find a retailer to purchase this, so there’s no information on price or availability.

If you don't use a controller, you can get a Stalker 2 keyboard and mouse. Clutch GM41 is the mouse and Vigor GK41 is the keyboard. The mouse is a sleek black and gray with a nuclear symbol on the left click, and an etched Stalker Logo at the bottom.

The Vigor GK41 is a lot more flashy. It has a large nuclear button as the escape key, and tons of custom keys. Both come with a copy, and could be the most immersive way of playing the game when it launches on 20 November.

We don't know for sure if the game will be released by then, but the marketing suggests that we can have some confidence. These new, slightly yucky peripherals are a great way for fans to celebrate the game's imminent release.
