One Deadlock player discovered a glitch which can 'increase the character's size' to such an extent that 'they become larger than the map, and die instantly.

The fact that Deadlock is in closed beta means that players can find weird bugs and glitches to exploit. The latest one is a real doozy. One player was able to use the ability of one of the heroes to grow other characters indefinitely.

Rasterise is the Deadlock player who uploaded a video showing off this new glitch. It's as impressive as it sounds. Rasterise explains that while playing yesterday, they discovered a bug which allowed them to use Magician’s 3 with colossus in order to increase the character’s scale indefinitely or at least until their size exceeded the map.

Rabbit Hex is the Magician 3 ability. It can turn a target into a small bunny that can move faster than other heroes, but also takes more damage. Colossus is a Tier 4 Vitality item which can give users bonus health, weapon damage and melee damage. It can also grant bullet resistance, spirit resist and slow down the movement speed for nearby enemies.

Rasterise explained during a Hero Lab match that when you turn a Hero into a Frog (that is another of Magician’s abilities), the Hero targeted gets bigger just as the Colossus items stops working. You can stack this item to make Deadlock's biggest hero.

One of the onlookers declared: "This is one of the greatest magic tricks I've ever witnessed." Another asked "Why is she fuckin bug? They probably meant big, but if a giant Lady Geist charged towards me I would also forget basic spelling.

But it's more than just fun and games. This glitch has some serious downsides. "Cons": "Hitbox changes only for incoming damage, so any cover becomes useless. Zipline stops working and the camera stays in default position so you can't even see anything." It doesn't matter how big you are if you can't run fast. Watching a huge Lady Geist try to sprint to the mid-boss is like watching me in my dreams. The only positive is that it is "funny," and it is. Fair play.

The match ended in a defeat because Lady Geist was simply too big for the map. She kept getting killed every time she respawned by the skybox. It's a high price to pay for success, but pioneers have to sacrifice in order to discover.
