PC Gamer's Top 10 Prime Day Deals for October

1. Ryzen 7 7840HS
Dell is slaying Prime Day this year. Both on desktops and laptops, like this cheapest decent RTX gaming laptop we've ever seen. The 512 GB SSD is a bit of a disappointment, but the rest of the specs are excellent and will deliver on the 1080p 165 Hz screen.

2. Ryzen 7 7700
Newegg's listing is oddly lacking in specs, but it ships directly from Lenovo. The main Legion 5 listing is also oddly lacking in specs. The core spec is impressive, with an eight-core Zen 4 processor at its core supporting the RTX4070 Ti Super GPU. You get 32 GB DDR5 RAM, which is twice as much as the Alienware.

3. RTX 4070
This Dell gaming laptop has a spec sheet to die for. It features a 240 Hz, 1600p display with Intel's Core i9-13900HX processor. It also comes with a 140 W RTX-4070, although it is not the prettiest or most compact machine. It should still deliver some serious mobile gaming power for a surprisingly low price. You will need to upgrade your single-channel memory, but a dual channel 32 GB kit is available for only $73 at the moment.

4. Ryzen 5 5600X
The Yumi is one of the most reliable gaming PCs, always being there or close by. This is currently the cheapest RTX-4060-based PC that we've seen, and it comes with a solid supporting spec, even if the specs aren't the latest. This machine, which comes with DDR4 RAM along with a Ryzen 5 from the previous generation, may not be the best in its class but it still delivers great performance at a price of under $1000.

5. 16 GB GDDR6
The RX 6800XT was the best card at this price point. But now, we have deals where the 7800XT is the same price. The card is only slightly faster than the one it replaces, and it's not a huge deal, but it's still a lot of GPU for the price.

6. 27-inch
ASRock's gaming displays are always cheap. We love them for this. This 1440p panel provides a high resolution and rapid refresh rate, making it a powerful PC gaming combo. However, the built-in WiFi antenna makes it stand out. This is not essential, but it could be useful for some.

7. 1 TB

8. 24 GB GDDR6
AMD's RX XTX was hard to find heavily discounted below its MSRP. There are now some great deals on this high-end GPU. We'll take any discount we can get. The Radeon RX7900 XTX card is incredibly fast, and there are many good cooling designs available for this card.

9. Fabric
This is the best budget gaming seat I've found. This is a comfortable throne to shoot headshots in Valorant, or romance Gale in Baldur's Gate 3! It's easy to assemble, comfortable, and surprisingly plush. It's available in black leatherette.

10. 32-inch
It's amazing how much a letter can change, especially when it comes gaming monitors. The code names given to monitors can be difficult to understand, but this MAG 321UP has a 165 Hz instead of 240 Hz refresh rate. This is the only difference in price between this and OLED. Otherwise, you get a beautiful 4K panel with response times that will make you die and pixel quality to live for. If you don't care about the difference in refresh rate (and do you own the hardware necessary to achieve a matching 240 frames per second otherwise? ), then this is the best option. This is where smart OLED money should be spent.
