Pixel Sandbox Core Keeper Coming to Consoles in August

The mining adventure Core Keeper is set to leave Steam Early Access this summer, with version 1.0 launching on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on August 27.

While Fireshine Games has not shared details about the 1.0 update, they did mention a summer patch scheduled to launch before the full release. This patch was initially intended to introduce new content, but the developers have decided to focus on optimization and bug fixes instead. The new features planned for the summer update will now be included in version 1.0.

In Core Keeper, players explore mysterious caves, either solo or in online co-op for 2-8 players. Dive deeper to uncover resources and treasures. You can craft various tools, from pickaxes, fishing rods, and shovels to traps, bombs, and mortars. Gradually, you'll unlock upgraded gear and more powerful weapons.

Using a variety of materials and parts, Core Keeper allows players to create bases to their liking, whether it's an explorer's lair or a cozy underground home. You can also customize your character with armor and unique outfits.

The mines are filled with dangers, including monsters, mini-bosses, and legendary titans. Enhance your character by allocating talent points as you progress.

Core Keeper will be available on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on August 27.
