Prime Day is a great time to get this RTX 4070Ti Super at a new low of $750.

This MSI GeForce GTX 4070 Ti Super (16 GB Ventus 3X is now only $750 instead of $840. This is the lowest price Amazon has ever offered for this card since July when this listing was made.
The RTX 4070Ti Super was launched to replace the RTX 4070Ti. The Super model has a marginally faster performance in games due to its reduced RTX4080 GPU. This model offers a slightly higher core count (8.448 to 7.680) and a higher memory capacity (16GB to 12GB) than the non-Superi. Overall, the Super variant is a slightly faster card - maybe 5% or 10%.
The RTX 4070 Super is priced at $799, the same as the RTX 4070. Third-party cards, like this one from MSI, were often more costly. This deal is a rare discount below the original MSRP.
This same MSI RTX RTX 4070Ti Super model was reviewed at launch. The triple-fan system kept the card relatively cool during our testing, with a maximum temperature of only 68 degC.
It's important to note that the Ventus 3X may need a BIOS upgrade to unlock its full power. The Ventus 3X had a bad BIOS when we first tested it, and the performance was down by 5%. This has been fixed with subsequent updates. Later versions of the card will come with the BIOS pre-installed. If you have one of the original production runs, you can download it from the MSI website.
Option 2requires patience. We don't know when Nvidia will release its next GeForce graphic cards. Rumours suggested that the RTX-5090 and RTX-5080 would be released in late 2024, but a launch in early 2025 is more likely. The Las Vegas tech extravaganza CES will likely have Jen-Hsun Huang on stage giving a keynote. She is Nvidia's billionaire boss and big boss.
Even then, it's unlikely that a new RTX 50 series card priced at $750 will be released alongside the expensive cards, meaning a potentially longer wait.
AMD isn't much better. We don't know when AMD will launch its next-generation GPUs. However, it is unlikely that we'll be seeing many ultra-high-end cards from the red team. Rumours suggest that the red team will only be focusing on mid-range cards.
You could make a strong argument for either choice, 1 or 2. It all depends on your situation. If you are in desperate need of an upgrade, this $750 graphics card deal could be the answer. If you're willing to battle the bots at launch, however, you may be able to get a much faster card for the same price. It all depends on when Nvidia launches them.
