" data-widget-type="deal" data-render-type="editorial">This is a budget gaming monitor but the value you get for your money is amazing. This is the lowest price I've seen for a 34-inch Ultrawide monitor. I would not regret buying it.
If you are a member of Amazon Prime, this LG UltraGear 34GP63AB is only $237. Even if you don’t have Prime, it’s still $250 for a fully-fledged gamingmonitor.

The brightness of the VA panel LG used is the only thing that reveals its non-obvious budget orientation. It only has a standard 300 nits luminance. It's a pretty standard screen for an affordable price. I would only have been disappointed if I had paid the original $400-500 for this Ultragear.
You'll need a large curved panel of 34 inches with native resolutions of 3440 x 1440. You'll get a blocky image if you go lower, and if you go higher, you'll need a powerful GPU to make the most out of it.
You also get a 160 Hz rate of refresh, which is much higher than the 100 Hz and even 75 Hz rates you'd see on other budget ultrawides. Amazon lists it as having a shiny screen surface, however, every other specification sheet I've seen for it suggests that it has a matte anti-glare finish.
No other complaints from me. This is the best budget gaming monitor you can find. It's not uncommon for games to have an ultrawide aspect ratio (a pox on you, Elden Ring), and it can increase your immersion. This is especially true if you are into sim racing. Wrap this around an awesome steering wheel and pedal set-up and you will be laughing.
Prime Day gaming monitors are a great bargain.
