Rockstar teases a 'totally mind-blowing' future for Grand Theft Auto 6 after it wins Most Wanted Game in the Golden Joystick Awards

The 42 ^and annual Golden Joystick Awards have ended, the winners are announced, and Black Myth Wukong won the Ultimate Game of the Year Award. Helldivers 2 won four awards, as did Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Rockstar teased "absolutely mind blowing things" in Grand Theft Auto 6 with its one award, for Most Wanted Game.

David Manley, Rockstar's CEO, said (via GamesRadar) that there were "amazing people" doing amazing things in Grand Theft Auto 6. "It's an honour to be able accept this award in everyone's name. I wish there were more of us here. "Thank you all very much, and yes, there will be more to come."

Unfortunately, he did not say when GTA 6 will be coming to PC. We're not sure ifit will come to PC yet, but history tells us that it will. History also tells us that it won't happen in fall 2025 when the game was originally scheduled to be released on consoles. It's not a given that the game will be released on consoles in fall 2025.

Grand Theft Auto 6 winning the Most Wanted Game award is not a big surprise. But, it's still cool that Satisfactory was chosen as PC Game of the year, beating Animal Well, Balatro and Frostpunk 2.

The team behind Satisfactory shared some (un-)prepared comments regarding the win on X.

Feng Ji, CEO of Black Myth Wukong developer Game Science did the same during his acceptance speech for the Ultimate Game of the Year. Ji said, in pre-recorded remarks: "If you haven’t played Black Myth Wukong yet you are in luck." "Now you have another reason to try it!

"Of Course, you may have already completed our games. It's fine. "Keep following us and you might find some surprises later this year."
