Steam is buzzing with a hard-core, turn based zombie survival roguelike.
A new zombie survival video game is gaining some positive attention on Steam. Terminus: Zombie Survivors is a "2D turn-based survival Roguelike set in a zombie apocalypse". It sets itself apart by focusing on turn-based gameplay that doesn't require active reactions, but rather planning and an effective use of your limited action points.
In Terminus, you and other survivors from your city must travel through the zombie-infested land to reach the Terminus, a safe area outside of the sombie quarantine zones. There are many ways to get there, including escaping by boat, on foot, or in a salvaged helicopter. You can even find researchers searching for a cure to the zombie plague.
The city that you fight through to survive will be procedurally generated. Over 150 different areas can be generated with hundreds of items and locations to find, as well as endless zombies. The journey to the Terminus will never be the same.
Terminus has a sandbox component, where you can recruit NPCs to your squad, trade with those who do not want to join and even go rogue if that's what you like to do. This all plays into the Survival element. More people can accomplish more, but you will need to find food to stay healthy and move toward the Terminus.
Terminus: Zombie Survivors is available on Steam.
