Stellar Blade Studio says that a PC version will be available 'in the very near future'

Shift Up, a Korean developer, has now confirmed that Stellar Blade will be released on PC. It said in its latest financial report that the release is expected to happen soon.

Stellar Blade was released exclusively for PlayStation 5 in April 2024 and received a positive reception. We didn't review the game because it was a PS5 exclusive. But GamesRadar said it was "a solid 20-30 hours of fun" with "stylish combat and some gorgeous environments," if you can tolerate some repetition and jank. Metacritic also gives it an aggregate score of 81, which is not bad.

Shift Up announced in May that it was "considering a PC version" of Stellar Blade. Now, in August, it appears to have decided to go ahead. "To continue the excitement surrounding the 'Stellar Blade IP,' we are preparing its release on PC soon, and we expect it to perform better on PC than consoles," the company said in its Q2 financial report for 2024 (via Genki_JPN).

Shift Up's statement is unclear. It could mean that they think Stellar Blade will do better on PC compared to PS5. Or it could simply be a way to revive flagging sales.

The report also mentions Shift Up’s next game currently known as “Project Witches.” This one, unlike Stellar Blade, may be released on PC immediately: "Based on our previous success with Goddess of Victory Nike on mobile, PC and consoles and Stellar Blade's success on consoles, We plan to release Project Witches on a cross-platform basis."
