The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer reveal featured a wedding: 'Our love was stronger than any Meta'

Love can bloom anywhere, even on the battlefield. This was proved this week in Washington D.C., when CoD-focused creators came to test Black Ops 6 multiplayer and, for two attendees, to marry.

A crowd gathered outside the Call of Duty: Next venue last night to witness the wedding of Brad “TheCallofDutyDJ” and Chloe “chloejagger,” two streamers who met by chance during a fateful Call of Duty game. Brad told Chloe that he had loved her since they first met in the lobby. The recording was played during today's CoD Next showcase. "It was love at first sight."

The groom wore a black and orange tuxedo outfit for his wedding, complete with cufflinks featuring the Call of Duty logo. As the couple exchanged vows, they were surrounded by a sea of sunglasses and CoD tees.

Brad said, "Our love is stronger that any meta and I'm thrilled to spend the rest my life with you." "I promise to always cherish you, protect you and let you defuse that bomb." The crowd was enthralled by this last bit of chivalry.

Chloe's vows stated, "You instantly made my laugh harder than ever before." "I promise to stay by your sides, even if you steal my kill."

After placing their rings, the newlyweds cut the wedding cake. It was a four-tiered affair with a top that showed the couple playing Call of Duty together. The cake has a menacing ACOG crosshair on it. I'm not sure if it's to show that someone is aiming at the dessert, or if it's the cake itself. There's also the Call of Duty logo. Franchise branding is a great way to express marital bliss.

I think that the wedding was not catered because it looked like there were no dedicated servers.

"It's everything to us." Call of Duty is a huge part of our lives," Chloe stated while speaking on stream today during the Black Ops 6 multiplayer reveal. "This is a wonderful dream." Brad replied that their honeymoon plans were to "definitely play the beta as much we can at home." After that, we'll worry more about the honeymoon.
