It must be cheaper than Nvidia cards or perform better in some other way. I recently upgraded to a RTX Super myself, and it's a great piece of tech for its MSRP of only $599. Intel has a chance if it can undercut the price by a significant amount, but it will be difficult to do in these tough times.

Intel Arc cards were often held back by their high power draw, expensive price, or software issues. Intel's software has improved in the last few years, so there is hope that it can pull this out of the bag. Battlemage's Lunar Lake iGPU is a much more consistent performer compared to any of the Alchemist graphics cards we've previously tested. It should be a much smoother ride if you buy a discrete Intel graphic card of the new generation.
