The trailer for Arcane: Season 2 is the mother of all trailers, teasing an explosive conclusion to the war between Piltover & Zaun.

Arcane: The second season is rapidly approaching after the first took the world by a storm in 2022. I was an avid episode-by -episode viewer when it first came out. It's been lauded by many for a number of good reasons, including its stunning animation, tightly written script, banger score, as well as its ability to successfully twist my heart. There's a brand new trailer and it looks like it will follow up on the first one.

Season 2 picks up where the first season ended, in League of Legends Piltover. A steampunk wonderland with the city of Zaun slapped unceremoniously on its underbelly. The newly self-actualised Jinx fires a rocket into the Piltover Council Chambers.

Vi seems to be convinced that her sister has left the building and that "there is only Jinx." Caitlyn feels the same way, saying that she would like to "rip that laugh out of her throat forever."

We see them immediately in their Warden uniforms, along with a few soldiers, including what could very well be Orianna, on the left. She's still flesh and bones, but given the twists that the adaptation's debut season brought us? Everything is possible. Her hair is at least uncannily similar.

We then see the two main forces that are driving the civil war between Zaun & Piltover. Ambessa Medarda, the ruthless Noxian Warlord and mother of Mel Medarda, encourages the remaining council to impose martial law on Piltover.

Sevika, who has recovered from Vi’s thrashing, has a new hairstyle and tells Jinx that her major domestic mishap has made her a symbol of rebelliousness. Jinx's shoulders are touched with solemn respect by people passing by. We also see a beautiful mural of her. When asked what she wants to be, she replies: "To watch everything burn." The answer is probably 'no,' to sensible economic reforms. She might renationalise railways as she throws a molotov.

Season 2 will be centered around the conflict between the nations. There will be riots on the streets, civil war, and Warwick (who is, let's admit it, probably Vander), escaping the facility where he was born.

This last shot is particularly fascinating. We can see Jinx being thrown back (accidentally?) In a fight between Vi and herself in ruins covered with Jinx-brand graffiti, we can see what looks like Jinx being thrown back. This is a series which is great at hiding the truth.

Arcane: Season 2 is being animated by Fortiche Production. (Fortiche produced and directed the animation under the direction and founders Pascal Charrue & Arnaud delord). It has a planned November release date and will be streamed via Netflix. The final season will be released in November, and it will be streamed on Netflix.
