The waiting list for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now gone. You should be able get in right away.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 didn't launch on time. On Tuesday, many pilots were left staring at the status screen, which read 0%, for the majority of the day. Even those who loaded 97% of the game ended up stuck.
Microsoft advised players to wait until the problem was resolved. After a few minutes, players saw a new status message informing them that there were too many people attempting to login at the same time: a queue.
The game seems to be working more or less correctly today. The waiting queue for MSFS 2024 login has been resolved," read a post from an admin in the official Discord at 11:03am Pacific.
I can confirm this myself. I was able login late last night, after waiting on the queue screen for an hour. Today, however, I was able get into the game without any wait and took my first shaky Cessna 172 Skyhawk flight.
The fact that you can log in doesn't mean you won't experience some turbulence today when you play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. "We are aware of other technical issues which the team is working on addressing," the admin stated on Discord. "We will have a second update later today."
