This game pits Nazi occultists against commando scientists, and stealth strategy is given a demonic twist.

What's better than playing games about killing nazis to kill them? You know what's better than games about killing nazis? Sumerian Six is a stealth strategy game developed by Devolver Digital’s Artificer studio. It sends five commando scientist and one werebear on a mission to stop some bad nazis.

But, you'll have to do it stealthily. "Lead a team of commando scientist behind enemy lines in order to fight Nazis and uncover arcane mysteries. Use experimental technology to change the tide of WWII," reads the official game description.

Sumerian Six has clearly taken up the torch that stealth strategists have been missing since the closure last year of the incredible Mimimi game. The interface, views and gameplay are inspired by Mimimi's Shadow Tactics, Shadow Gambit, in the same manner that other 90s RTS were inspired by Command & Conquer.

Sumerian Six has received a 95% positive rating on Steam from early players.

Sumerian Six is a stealth game that has a variety of enemies, and the characters have special abilities. This is a far cry from the more staid gameplay in Commandos and Desperados where there's little magic happening. Your Sumerian Six characters are deploying superscience, and turning into bears.

Sumerian Six is available on Steam for $30. There's also a demo.
