This Nvidia GPU coupled with one of the best AMD Zen 4 processors feels like we finally get the sub-$1,000 gaming computer we deserve

This sub-$1,000 gaming computer has one disappointing feature: the 600 W power supply won't be enough if you want the same amount to spend on a single graphics card. That's it. It's happening. It's happening. We're starting to see really good hardware available at prices that aren't utterly punishing. This is a first in this generation. We can now start to call it the outgoing generation, with the new AMD Zen 5 processors and RTX 5000 series graphics cards on the horizon.

Until now, all sub-$1,000 gaming computers were equipped with RTX 4060 GPUs on low-rent Intel chips from last-gen. Now, we have a RTX-4060 Ti with an eight-core and 16-thread AMD processor. The Ryzen 7 7700 is one of the best Zen 4 processors from that generation. It's more efficient than the Ryzen 7 7700X but still delivers serious gaming performance.

Not only that, but we won't be hampered by a paltry amount memory and a weak-hearted SSD, as we have had to endure in the budget-oriented segment for gaming PCs.

This system comes with 32 GB DDR5 memory. It's not the fastest RAM out there at 5200 MT/s but it's still a lot of RAM. You won't need to upgrade anytime soon. You can also get a 1 TB SSD for your games library. This is the minimum you need right now.

The only thing that causes me a little concern is the power supply. However, this only applies if you upgrade to a graphics cards that cost about the same as the entire gaming PC.
