In typical AMD fashion, the Radeon RX 7700 launched at a price that was too high but has since become a better deal. It's now at its peak: not only has it dropped to $350, but it also comes with two games for free: Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 and Unknown: Awakening.

Newegg has a deal on a triple-fan PowerColor Fighter RX7700 XT, which includes AMD's 2-game package, for $350. This is a $40 savings.

In our RX7700 XT review we called it a "solid option for 1440p" and praised its 12 GB VRAM. At launch, the card cost $449, which was $50 less than its bigger brother, the RX 8800 XT. This was a deal that was worth it. We gave the RX 7700 XT a 76% score, citing its high price, and lower RT performance compared to the competition.

The RX 7700 XT performs a bit slower than the RTX 4070. The performance gap between the two cards increases when ray tracing becomes enabled. What you need to consider, and what is in AMD's favor, is that the RX 7700 XT has now been reduced by around $200 compared to the RTX 4700.

The RX 7700 XT is often faster than the RTX 4960 Ti, and costs less.

The money is the main thing. You're looking at a graphics card that is much, much more attractive because of the steep discount. We haven't even mentioned the freebies.

AMD offers a lot of giveaways with its graphics cards. Usually, you can get a couple of games for free with any purchase. Currently, the games are Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 and unknown 9: Awakening.

I haven't yet played Unknown 9 Awakening but I have spent a few hours with Space Marine 2. It's a gorefest with a lore that is incredibly miserable. I'm really into this. This deal would normally cost $60, but with this deal you get to keep the change and a discounted graphics card.
