The HyperX QuadCast microphone is the perfect choice if you're looking for a reliable, feature-rich, great-sounding microphone. Oh, and it's red. It's a USB mic with four polar patterns (stereo omnidirectional cardioid bidirectional) to choose from. This means you can record yourself, two speakers or an entire room if you choose.

There's a handy gain knob, tap to mute functionality and an anti-vibration mount that prevents bumps and taps from showing up on your audio as ugly noises. It's a well-featured microphone, and I've yet to even get to the sound.

This HyperX microphone is clear and distinct, and can reproduce a lot of volume. The gain knob will be very useful. It's not a shy mic, and the color choice reflects this. Amazon is currently offering this mic for just under $50 off. That's a great deal on a good microphone.

This mic is one that stands out. If you want to dazzle your audience on your next stream, why not try its flashier sibling instead?

The QuadCastS is a great alternative if the original QuadCast doesn't look good enough for you. It's the same mic that you're used to with the Quadcast, but with some flashy RGB effects. This will look great in your next meeting or stream. It's true that you're paying quite a bit for the lighting. But it looks fantastic in action.

Here are the headline specs: This is a USB mic with four polar patterns, including stereo, omnidirectional and bidirectional, a handy gain knob, tap to mute, etc. The HyperX QuadCast S has the same basic features as the HyperX QuadCast, but with RBG effects. While it may seem silly to pay a lot more for lighting, the QuadCast really stands out.

You see, these microphones will work fine from a distance but sound great on a boom arm up close. If you decide to mount the QuadCast on an arm, you will likely use a webcam.

The QuadCast is a great looking mic, but the QuadCastS can be even more stunning with its RGB-adjustable feature. This mic is truly mesmerizing, and if streaming is something you're interested in, it's the one to get. We chose it as the best-looking gaming microphone and anyone who has seen one in action is likely to agree.

Amazon has it for $114? It's a bit more expensive, but you decide if it's worth it. The QuadCast has both substance and style, which is a rare combination in a microphone.
