You can get all the RPGs Larian has ever released before Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam for just $30.

You've just finished Baldur's gate 3 and want to know if Larian has ever made another game that you might like? You can do that now, as every RPG made by the studio is available on Steam at a deep discount.

Let's start with Divine Divinity. This sprawling, open ended 2002 epic made me a Larian devotee for life. It's heavily dated at this point, but if you can't see the origins of Baldur's gate 3 in it you aren't looking. It's less than a dollar! What else can you buy for that price?

Beyond Divinity is the 2004 sequel. It's similar to the original, but you can control two characters. I remember the voice acting being horribly awful, but I loved it. Also 89 cents.

Then there's Divinity 2 Developer's cut, an updated version of Ego Draconis which includes the Flames of Vengeance extension. This one was a bit off-putting because it did not use the isometric perspective, but "Ego Draconis", may be my favourite subtitle of all time. Yours for only $3.

After that, we have Divinity Dragon Commander. This one is a bit offbeat. It combines a political simulation with real-time and turn-based strategy, and allows you to transform into a dragon, so you can go out and kick some arse. I'm not going to lie, I didn't like it, but I respected Larian for his willingness to take a risk. $6.

Divinity Original Sin, which almost bankrupted Larian's studio, was also the project that finally propelled the studio to the big leagues, or at least towards them: A massive party-based RPG set in a highly responsive game world, that made RPG enthusiasts sit up and pay attention. Did we award it the Spirit of the PC Award 2014? You bet we did. The Enhanced Edition costs $8.

Divinity Original Sin 2 was Larian's real breakthrough. A masterpiece RPG, it would be the crowning achievement of any game studio who didn't make Baldur's gate 3. Also PC Gamer’s "obvious selection" for 2017 Game of the year. The Definitive Edition is $13.49 at Steam.

The L.E.D. Wars, a 1997 RTS game, is the only Larian title not included on this list. Wars was a 1997 RTS. You're not missing much. Aside from historical interest, we're here for RPG action.

For just over $30, you get a year of quality RPGs (if you hurry through them; if you dither, you can probably stretch it out until Larian releases their next game). I'd say that's a great deal. Baldur's gate 3 is also on sale, but at $48 this throws off the "holy c**k that's cheap!" curve. The Larian Steam sale runs until September 9th.
