Larian has announced a 'Channel From Hell" on YouTube to celebrate Baldur's Gate 3’s first birthday. The channel will feature 'community-focused videos' and 'never before seen' videos.

Larian has created a "Channel From Hell", a YouTube channel, to mark the full year since Baldur’s Gate 3 was released. The studio hasn't yet uploaded anything but it announced on X, the Everything App, that the "community focused" channel will "feature regular and never seen before videos which will be arriving this summer."

It's hard for us to believe that it's already been a year since Baldur's Gate 3 was released. But, one year ago, we all loaded up the character creator and made some sort of really hot orc, or elf. Then, we toggled the armor display in order to reveal Penis D.

The magic hasn't worn off after all this time. I've logged almost 300 hours and I'm still thinking about my next playthrough. Larian is still actively interacting with fans and planning updates to Baldur's Gate 3 like the villain-focused Patch 7 and modding.

The Channel From Hell is clearly a play on Baldur’s Gate 3’s pre-release Panels From Hell. These live events were where Larian developers would showcase new features coming to early access. You may remember that the infamous ursine scene featuring hunky Druid Halsin was first shown at Larian's last Panel From Hell.

The Channel From Hell looks like it can fill the void left by the Panels From Hell after Baldur's Gate 3 was released. It also fits in with Larian's direct, embedded social-media strategy, such as its active TikTok Channel. The Channel From Hell has no uploads at the moment but we can expect them before the end of summer.

We also celebrated the anniversary of Baldur's Gate 3: PCG's Fraser Brown, editor for online, attended the Barcelona summit to discuss Larian's new project. He conducted an extensive interview with Swen Vincke, Larian's boss, and Adam Smith from Baldur Gate 3. Fraser Brown discovered, among other interesting facts, that Larian already had playable prototypes of Baldur's Gate 4 and a Baldur's Gate 3 extension before deciding to go a different route.
