Larian is 'glad' that it could facilitate' 10,000 players renaming Withers as Bone Daddy.

Modders of Baldur's Gate 3 have been tinkering with the game since early access. However, it wasn't until September's Patch 7 when we received official mod support. Larian shared its modding toolkit with us and supported it with an ingame mod manager. Since then, more than 50 million mods were downloaded.

Larian tweeted about the milestone, noting that 10,000 downloads came from Withers' fans who knew his true name: Bone Daddy. It suits him.

If you're wondering how many people are obsessed with Fallout Ghoul, you must have missed the fervor for this mysterious corpse that gives out respecs. People love desiccated dudes with no nose.

Who could blame them?

Larian says, "I'm glad we were able to help."

I also like the mod who gives him sexy briefs embossed "Art thou nastiness"?

BG3 is now over a year old and still feels as vibrant as ever. You might think that mod support gave it a little boost, but the game has actually had a steady stream of concurrent players. This is despite the lack of DLC or expansions, and the fact that Larian has announced they are largely finished with the game. The game has received a lot of post-launch support. September's patch is a good example.
