Summary

The Inpatient sounds amazing on paper, but the terror is watered down so quickly and to such a large degree that it manages to make three hours feel easily twice as long, and not in a good way.

The Inpatient does not bring revolution to VR horror games, but thanks to butterfly wings effect it offers a solid re-playability. The game is from the beginning very good and interesting, unfortunately it is not able to hold (keep) this level to the end.

It's yet another curiously half-hearted side project from Supermassive that, appropriately, won't linger long in the memory.
