Eric Barone reveals the secret pumpkin folder he keeps filled with Stardew Valley fan-carved Krobuss that players send him every Halloween
The fear of missing out Eric "ConcernedApe' Barone's folder with Krobus-themed Jack o' lanterns was the scariest thing that I experienced this Halloween. If I knew this was a thing I would have been first to create my own janky creation.
Barone announced yesterday, on Halloween to his followers, "I will add each Stardew pumpkin into my folder." This post was accompanied by a full folder of Krobus pumpkins (46 to be exact).
Krobus is a great monster to use for inspiration when making Jack o' Lanterns. He's the only friendly creature in Stardew Valley. If you haven't yet met this wonderful creature, you should go to the sewer after obtaining the key from Gunther. Once you've found him, you can purchase some rare items from his shop and offer him gifts to lure him into your farm.
The folder isn't limited to Krobus pumpkins. "My little sister made a Junimo holding a "melon" pumpkin," says one player. "Another for the collection?" (She would be thrilled if you were to see it.)" Barone replied: "Very cool!" "Added to the folder."
Corie, the artist and creator of the Stardew Valley-inspired pumpkin, asked me if I liked it. "I'm a local artist at a Jack o' lantern fest, and my Stardew Valley-inspired pumpkin was a popular choice this year!"
Barone was also very impressed with this creation, as were many others. This little pixel Junimo was my personal favorite. It was painted by a fan on the side of a Halloween pumpkin. This was a couple years ago, and technically it wasn't a Jack o'lantern because nothing was actually carved in it. But it's too cute to ignore.
If you have a Stardew Valley pumpkin outside that you haven't yet taken down, take a picture before it collapses and send it to Barone. Who knows? You could also make the spooky Stardew Valley Jack o'lantern folder.
