An awesome new first-person shooter with the chops and options to tangle with the best.

An unconventional - hence invigorating - impetuous, inciting, and utterly, utterly playable first-person multiplaying affair.

While it lacks the intricate single player mode of "Goldeneye," the multi-player content in TimeSplitters is arguably the best in console FPS history.

The game is slicker than snot on a cold doorknob when you get a few friends together for some serious fragging.

The graphics are slick and shiny, the soundtrack is diverse and compliments the eras you fight through and the action is fast, frantic and undying.

If non-stop action and an unbeatable multiplayer mode is what you crave, Time Splitters has definitely got you covered.

The game is fast, fun, easy to control, and it's the first title to offer up to four players for the PS2 with a multitap device.

Running at an unbeatable 60 FPS and loaded to the gills with impressive weaponry and unwary enemies, Timesplitters is the perfect FPS to debut with the PS2.

It's a competently put together shooter, but it doesn't really excel in any of the many pies it tries to place its fingers into.

While story elements take a backseat to the action, they aren't missed as the mindless shooting speaks louder than words.

It’s a good, solid shooter, but even with the 4-player deathmatch (which I’m not really a fan of), there’s not a lot of substance here.
