Arcane, the League of Legends show, will end with a three-act finale that will be spread out over November

Netflix wants us to enjoy the second season of Arcane, an animated League of Legends show. The finale will be released in three "acts", on November 9, November 16 and November 23.

The nature of the three acts is not clear, but a few episodes for each act is a reasonable guess. Netflix only says that more information about the acts will be "announced." You can see a new trailer above. During Netflix's Geeked Week celebrations today, Hailee Steinfeld, who plays Vi, and Ella Purnell, who plays Jinx, announced a new Arcane Aftershow called Afterglow.

Arcane will be ending, but League of Legends animated series won't.

Christian Linke, Arcane's co-creator, said a few months back that Arcane was just the beginning of a larger storytelling journey. "We are partnering with Fortiche to create upcoming animated series," he added. "We had a specific ending in mind since the beginning of this project. The story of Arcane will conclude with this second season." But Arcane will be the first of many stories that we want to tell about Runeterra."

In our review from 2022, we rated Arcane's debut season as "one of the most entertaining TV shows of the year".
