The Steam Deck has had an OLED update and there are a lot of more powerful handhelds, but the original is still the archetype for what a mobile PC game device should be. It's as powerful as the latest model, so all Steam Deck compatible games will run smoothly. It's still the original PC gaming handheld and it deserves respect. SteamOS is awesome and it's incredibly affordable with this offer (which runs until December 4, if you need more time to decide).

OLED gaming is still not as affordable as we would like. But it is getting there. The 34-inch QD-OLED beast at this price is still a great deal. The 175 Hz is a bit pedestrian but we find it fast enough. In all other aspects, this is an OLED with a 0.03 ms reaction time and HDR sizzle.

Ryzen 7 8700F
This PC has a lot of caveats but at this price, it's hard to say no. This is because it has an RX 7800 XT, which is between RTX 4070 & 4070 Super performance, 32 GB RAM and 2 TB of storage. The 8700F processor isn’t the best, with only 16 MB of cache. This isn’t ideal for gaming, as compared to say, a 7600X. So, you’ll want to upgrade it later. It's socket am5, so upgrading should be easy.

Alienware is sure to do this at every sales event. They will offer a heavily discounted Aurora gaming computer that serves as a reminder of why we advise you to never pay full price for the Dell gaming brand. This RTX-4070 Ti Super-based PC is a real banger. It has a powerful Intel processor (that may need a firmware update due to recent Intel problems) and a decent backup spec of 16 GB Ram and a 1 TB HDD. All at a tasty price.

3. Core i5 14400F
You'd be hard-pressed to find a better gaming PC under $700 right now. It's true that the Intel Core i5 14040F isn't much of an improvement over its predecessor, but this little gaming chip is still a fast one. Plus, the RTX 4060 can deliver excellent 1080p gaming performance and even a little bit of 1440p if you use DLSS 3 and adjust your settings. You also get a 1 TB storage drive, a healthy dose DDR5, and a keyboard and a mouse.

5. RTX 4070
This is the cheapest RTX gaming laptop that you are likely to find on Black Friday. It also has a 140 W GPU, so it isn't a slouch. It's probably because it's a chocker. You get a Core i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, and a SSD of 1 TB. What more could you ask for?

6. 27-inch
ASRock is a favorite around here during busy shopping seasons. The screens are always on sale, and based on the one we used (read our review), they offer good value. This 165Hz panel is available for under $100, so you can't complain.
