Corsair's latest accessory refresh gives Mac users a perfect excuse to never again use a Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard.
I've always been a fan of Apple. Apple's intuitive and pretty phones, super-connective earbuds and incredibly productive computers have accompanied many late-night writing sessions (and even gaming at times) but one product is universally disliked: the Magic Mouse. Corsair has a new line of accessories that are a Mac refresh. They aim to provide a better alternative mouse, along with a keyboard and sold at the official Apple Store.
Corsair has added Mac compatibility to its M75 wireless mouse. It also offers two new colors: Frost and Glacier Blue. In our Corsair M75 Wireless review, we praised the mouse for its solid build quality, long battery life and ambidextrous feeling.
Apple is currently selling both the white and blue models for $123 each. The semi-transparent sides of the blue model are what I like. It reminds me of the retro see-through GameBoy build in a good way.
This keyboard is a great choice for Mac gamers. It has a maximum DPI of 26,00, Corsair Quickstrike buttons and a battery life of up to 105 hrs. Apple's switch to the Silicon M chip allows Mac owners to run some beefy games, like Baldur's Gate 3 or Lies of P.
The right cables will allow most mice to run on Mac, but this one is special because it connects directly to Corsair's iCUE software. Many of the best gaming mouses are not compatible with Mac due to lack of software support.
The Corsair K65 Plus Wireless, which is a keyboard refresh, has been designed even more specifically for Mac users, thanks to custom Mac buttons. The Windows key is now replaced by an Option key and the Alt key with a CMD. The keyboard looks and functions as you'd expect it to, but the new colors make a big difference.
The new white color has a refined look that highlights the blue-toned characters. The blue colour also has the same transparent side as the mouse. You can also purchase this directly from Apple Store for $180.
In our review of the Corsair K65 Plus Wireless, we praised its aesthetics, hot-swappable keyboards, great media control and fantastic feel. This keyboard is a winner, but it's only held back by the fact that keycaps don't shine through and there are limited switch options on the base model.
Corsair's range is a no-brainer when compared to Apple's Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard.
