Here's what I would do with $400 to upgrade my gaming space using the Black Friday PC gaming offers
I just bought a new system and I am very happy with it. I don't see any reason to replace the most important components of my rig, which includes a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and a mighty RTX4070 Super.
Black Friday is finally here, and I think that I can upgrade the smaller parts of my gaming area. Even though the most important parts of my gaming space don't require upgrading, I still want to upgrade them. Here's how I would upgrade it on Black Friday.

" data-widget-type="deal" data-render-type="editorial">The SSD was my first upgrade in my new rig. However, I could benefit from upgrading the 1 TB drive in my PC to something a bit more substantial. My money would go on the Silicon Power UD90.
Newegg offers a lot of games for under $100. I can fit more on my system, or I can leave the space to make sure I don't have to search for files every time a new release catches my attention.

I am someone who gets anxious if there is not enough space left. With the tiny 3 TB of my machine, I was able to pack it full of games that I will have to wait months to play.
It's possible that I am the problem, but a few extra TBs of storage can't hurt.
ASRock Phantom Gaming Monitor
ASRock is a favorite around here during busy shopping seasons. These screens are always on sale, and the one we have used ( Read our ReviewThey're also a good value for money. This 165Hz panel is priced at just under $100, so you can't complain. This would make a great gift for 1080p gamers who don't have a high-refresh rate monitor." data-widget-type="deal" data-render-type="editorial">
I admit that my main PC Gaming device before getting my rig, was a laptop. I bought my Lenovo Legion 5 in 2021, having just moved to a new country a year earlier. This was to give me the power to run modern games and not destroy my bank account.
The switch to PC was liberating, but I also lost my dual monitor setup that I had become accustomed to. The ASRock Phantom monitor, a small and cheap 1080p panel is just what I need as a secondary screen. It won't blow you away with its visuals, but the 165 Hz refresh will make it snappy enough for gaming.
The ASRock is the lowest price you can get for a gaming screen that is still capable.
CRKD Atom keychain controller
This is the perfect gift for a gamer. It's small, affordable, cute, and useful. You'll never need to worry about a controller if you travel often. And in Her reviewKara Phillips, a reporter for The New York Times, also found that it performed well." data-widget-type="deal" data-render-type="editorial">
First, let's talk about my gaming setup. I use a SteelSeries Pro TKL Gen 3 Keyboard and a Logitech Superlight 2 Dex. Both are great and do not need to be upgraded. This ickle CRKD stands out from the crowd.
This cute little controller is a fully-functional controller with a battery life of around ten hours. Our own Kara loved it in her CRKD atom controller review.
This is a great way to play a fighter or platformer (which I think controllers excel at) without having a cable or searching through a drawer.
I have a lot of controllers lying around in various places, but the biggest obstacle to using them is finding, setting up, and finding a place to store them afterward. Controllers can be difficult to use if they are only used once a month, just like VR headsets. This controller is easy to use and looks great.
TeamGroup
The Adata SD810 could be the perfect fit for you Best external SSDThe TeamGroup PD20 Mini is the best gift you can give someone. It's small, portable and looks good. It's not the best for large transfers, as I discovered in My reviewIt's fast enough for most transfers, especially if your computer has a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 port.
Price check: Amazon $82.99
" data-widget-type="deal" data-render-type="editorial">Some people believe that one storage upgrade will suffice. I call those people cowards. Although you could technically use this to store more games, I find that having a large external hard drive is more useful.
After all, I cannot simply remove my SSD to pass it on to my partner to share some files. I can't put it in my MacBook to edit photos or videos on the move. I can't daisy chain it through a keyboard passthrough or a USB hub.
This is a long way of saying external hard drives are often used for different purposes than internal ones, and I need more storage.
Govee Floor Lamp 2
The Govee Floor Lamp 2 is a great compromise between the quality and price of the RGBIC Floor Lamp. It provides up to 1725 Lumens of light and works with Matter for smart-home compatibility. This is a great way to enhance the ambience of any room. I know because I have two. " data-widget-type="deal" data-render-type="editorial">
I already own a Govee Floor Lamp. In fact, I have two (except for the Pro model). However, I would love to have more. These things look great, feel very customizable and the Floor Lamp 2 can be integrated into a smart house.
You don't have to install a complete smart home system in order to take advantage of its smart features. I have my smart lights connected to my partner's phone and we just need to say, "Siri turn on my light" to get them to illuminate the room. I am a certified light hater and a few floor lights are the best way to brighten up a room.
With a $400 budget I can get the items above and still have some left over for the Steam Autumn Sale to fill up my new SSD.
