This Black Friday RTX 4070Ti Super Deal costs less than half of what my RTX 4080 cost, and I am not bitter at all.
I had to live on Super Noodles for a few weeks to afford my RTX 4800 a year or so ago. So it's with absolutely no resentment that i come to inform that the RTX 400 Ti Super will put you within spitting range of my power at a much more affordable price this Black Friday.
The MSI Shadow GeForce 4070 Ti is now $740 at Newegg (after a 10% rebate), down from the maximum price of $800. If you can't keep track of the catchy titles this is Nvidia's 4070 Ti replacement with a few extra cores (8.448 vs 7.680) and four more GBs of VRAM bringing it up to the 4080's total of 16GB. It's actually the same GPU that was in the old RTX 4080. Just a few bits have been fused. This card costs less than half of what I paid and I'm cool with that.

This is MSI's take on the RTX 4100 Ti Super. It has a triple-fan cooler and it's incredibly performant - a word that is usually reserved for GPUs and website analysis. It's quiet, cool, and beefy. That's how I described myself in my CV that I sent to PC Gamer.
Although I'm in a state of poverty that hasn't been seen since the Paris bread riots because I bought my RTX 4000 at full price, I don’t regret a single thing. I was upgrading from a RTX 1080 Ti and having access to things like DLSS 3 and ray-tracing was, I gotta admit, night and day. At one point, I was just admiring the incredibly beautiful lights in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. They looked absolutely stunning and only possible on modern cards.
It's great that you can get the same experience for much less money. It's fine. I'm okay with that. Even if you come from a different RTX series card, DLSS 3 alone is worth the price. I have a 144Hz monitor and a TV running at 120Hz, and I can't imagine giving up the ability to use their maximum frame rates with all of Nvidia's fancy tech.
