Inzoi, the unbelievably beautiful life simulation, will be demonstrating its character creator for a limited period of time next week.
Inzoi is one of the few Sims-like games on the horizon. It's not only the most likely to be released soon, but it is also gorgeous. Next week, Inzoi's Character Creator will be available as a free demo.
"As a treat for its community," Krafton said today, Inzoi will release a limited-time public demo of Inzoi: Character Studio via Steam. This feature allows players to create their dream avatar, 'Zoi', with over 250 customization choices. Character Studio will be playable from 9 pm Pacific Tuesday, August 20, through 9 pm Pacific Sunday, August 25,.
Since its announcement late last year, we've seen a few gameplay trailers of Inzoi. It has a lot of features that life-sim fans have been waiting for, like driveable cars, tools to edit cities, and other weird things like tarot readings. Character creation is the part that has made people drool most.
The menus have been in Korean, so I don't understand all of the options. However, it's easy to appreciate the soft, detailed hairstyles and hyper-realistic textures on clothing, as well as the granular editing of the face, even without a translation. We've seen some very detailed nail customizations, color pickers for eye color and skin color, as well as individual pieces of clothing. Oh, and there is a pattern picker for clothes, too.
It's a lot of options in just five days. If my PC doesn't heat up first, rendering all of those lighting effects and hair strands will probably overheat the brain.
Inzoi has announced that, with the launch of Character Studio, you will also be able upload Zois to Canvas--its space for sharing content like The Sims Series Gallery--and the Zois that you upload during the Demo will remain usable once Inzoi's full release hits.
Inzoi hasn't announced a release date, but launched a Steam page just last week. The storefront says "coming soon", and the last time we heard, it was expected to be released in late 2024. Inzoi teased recently that it would also be attending Gamescom, which begins next Monday. It's possible that we'll hear more about that front while we're still trying to make very detailed avatars.
