Phoenix Labs, the developers behind the online action game Dauntless and the farming simulator Fae Farm, has undergone significant layoffs. Additionally, the company announced the closure of several unannounced projects.

Today is an incredibly difficult day. After a thorough review of the current economic environment, we have begun a major restructuring of the company to pave the way for a stable future.
We are reorganizing Phoenix Labs to focus on our leading game services—Dauntless and Fae Farm—and to support our communities.
Unfortunately, this means canceling other studio projects, which will immediately affect many of our colleagues. We are sending notifications to everyone whose positions are impacted by this decision.
According to journalist Nicole Carpenter, over 100 employees have lost their jobs.
This restructuring is a tough decision and truly a last resort, necessary for the survival and long-term success of Phoenix Labs. Words cannot express how much we value each talented individual who has contributed their hard work and enthusiasm to the studio's projects.
We are doing everything possible during this transitional period to assist the team members who are leaving us and encourage all studios looking for talented professionals to reach out to these outstanding individuals who have been part of Phoenix Labs' history.
