Need some DDR5 speed for a new build, or a gaming PC upgrade? This Team Group 32GB kit is only $86

$106.99 Newegg: $85.99 (Save $21) Right? Fast DDR5 is expensive. This kit isn't expensive and it's ideal for any AMD AM5 gaming PC or the latest Intel gaming PC. It's true that it doesn't come with nice RGB lighting, but if you don't mind not having it, you won't be disappointed. If you don't want it in white, the kit is also available in black at the same price.

If you've decided to upgrade your gaming PC, you may have noticed during Prime Day that all the latest platforms from AMD or Intel use DDR5 as the system memory.

AMD's Ryzen desktop processors support DDR5 up to 5,200MT/s (5600MT/s for the 9000 series). However, as long as your motherboard has a B650 or better chipset, you can run both generations with DDR5-6000. Ryzen chips are considered to perform best at a memory speed of around 6,000 MT/s.

The Raptor Lake (and Arrow Lake) processors are similar, though they do not have a sweetspot. Depending on your setup, the 13th and 14th Intel Cores will work fine with DDR5-6400.

This 32 GB kit is the best option if you want something fast but not too expensive. It will work in both AMD and Intel gaming PCs.

It's fast, rated at 6,000 MT/s with a CAS of 30 cycles. Cheap RAM can have high latencies that reduce the responsiveness of your PC. This is not the case with this RAM.

This kit has no negatives in my opinion. You don't have RGB lighting on the memory sticks, which is a downside, but they look great in white. If you want them to be more subtle, Team Group also sells them in a black finish for the same price.

You can buy them, install them in your motherboard and then enable XMP or EXPO in the BIOS. No fuss, no hassle. What else do you need from your system memory, really?
