Prime Day has knocked off $50 from the Corsair gaming chairs I rate as the best budget gaming chair even at full price. Now only $200
The Corsair TC100 is a great gaming chair that doesn't cost a fortune. We tend to think that quality seating can only be afforded by those with a lot of money, but the TC100 is comfortable and refined, and normally only 250.
It's rare to find a chair that offers so much for so little.
It's not necessary to spend a lot to bring some comfort to your PC gaming setup. The Corsair TC100 is $200 at Newegg, and you can get $50 off using coupon code FTT224DX7248.
There are also a few other styles:
Quick Links
- Newegg: TC100 Black Fabric - $200 (with code).
- Newegg: TC100 Leatherette – Black - $200 (with code).
I also expected to see other colors. However, only the gray/black color is available, and it costs $220. That doesn't seem worth it to me. But hey, perhaps you value gray chairs marginally more for a $20 price premium.
Best Buy also sells the TC100 for $220. Newegg offers free shipping so it's an easy decision to save 20 dollars.
I would not bother with Amazon.com. It's $20 more expensive , anda wait of 1-2 months for shipping. Lame.
A $50 discount is a great deal, especially since this chair is already a winner at full price and is unmatched by other chairs of similar price. This chair did drop another $10 on Black Friday last year. It's a bit of an experiment to wait to see if the chair drops another $10 at Black Friday this year.
Katie Wickens has written a few words about our Corsair TC100 relaxed review. Here's what Katie Wickens had to say.
"At $70/PS100 cheaper than the T3, you would expect some compromise, but I am still unable to understand how Corsair managed to reduce the price so drastically and for essentially a larger chair."
Katie does mention a few flaws. The 2D armrests, while a cost-saving measure, are no match for the 4D armrests found on more expensive chairs. There are also the screws that required a little push and pull in order to secure them. Katie assembled this chair in just 40 minutes. A decent PC pitstop, nonetheless.
