Riot heard that you liked Arcane and so they are bringing 3 more League Of Legends events.
The League of Legends animated show Arcane just finished its final season and it seems like Riot Games and Fortiche Production have done a great job. The most expensive animated show ever produced, Arcane, has a perfect rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. It ended with a bang and left the crowd wanting more.
You'll get more. Christian Linke, the co-creator of Arcane and showrunner of the series, has confirmed that while the original plan was for two seasons, the next step in this "cinematic world" will be three separate shows focusing on different regions of space.
Linke said in an interview with streamer Necrit94 that "Noxus is getting shows, and [are] the next steps in this filmic universe" (thanks to TheGamer). "We're not done yet, we are really going wide. We're looking at all regions and we now have the capability to build a slate for new stories and to continue others," Linke said in an interview with streamer Necrit94 (thanks, TheGamer).
Linke teased that Fortiche would be creating the shows when he discussed Arcane's 2nd season. Linke said that the next LoL animation series began pre-production about a year ago. However, there is no information on the release date or which show this could be. Arcane's first two seasons were released three years apart, so don't look for it any time soon.
If you squint hard enough, there is a faint link to Arcane in one of them: Noxus, the home region of Mel and Ambessa Medarda from the show. The three regions mentioned by Linke, however, are among the oldest, most lore-packed, and most diverse in LoL mythology. There are many champions available to choose from so they could be anywhere.
Harvey Randall, PCG's Harvey Randall, has been watching Arcane Season 2, and he is very pleased with what he sees. Beware of spoilers for season 2. "This is a show you will want to watch over and over again." You have to spend some time picking out the details, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
