This Humble Bundle is a great value for a Pathfinder 2e convert. It includes everything you need to get started, plus additional adventures, all for only $15.
I've just started running a Pathfinder edition 2e game for my friends who used to play D&D 5e. While I don't abandon D&D entirely, I have been very impressed with this system.
It's a blessing for my wallet that I can get so much of it for free. Archives of Netheryis, an officially-supported hub, has all of the content from all sources, including player content. It's a bit like piracy, but Paizo is 100% fine with it.
It's not exactly in line with official content but it's so abundant that I haven't noticed. The Foundry Virtual Tabletop integration (VTT) gives you everything but the adventures.
Paizo makes the majority of its money from official adventure paths. As a DM that runs only homebrew, I feel like I have robbed Paizo in some way. It's great news! I can now feel even more like a cheapskate with this ridiculously-priced Humble Bundle.
You can get all the information you need for a homebrew from the free sources mentioned above, but I still recommend the books as they are easy to read. For $15/PS11.30 you can download PDFs of the GameMastery Guide (PDF), Bestiary (PDF), Beginner Box (PDF), GM Screen, Advanced Player Guide, Core Rulebook, as well as a bunch printable mats, characters sheets, and those aforementioned Adventure Paths.
If you buy the full package for $60/PS48 you get over $800/PS600 worth of books at a fraction of the cost. You also get some Foundry VTT Modules (which start at $35/PS26.50). you can donate to charity at the same time. A portion of the proceeds will go to TakeThis whose mission it is to "decrease stigma and increase support for mental health within the game enthusiast community as well as inside the gaming industry."
These rulebooks are not the same asPaizo 2e ruleset, which has made changes to important terms and is updating the game's classes bit by bit.
The adventure paths are all still compatible and, as I said, the majority of these remastered rules will be free on Archives of Netheryis at some point. Many of these are already available in Foundry Virtual Tabletop. If you buy this bundle to get the VTT modules, or convert the PDFs yourself, this isn't a problem.
