This YouTuber is on a quest to find the worst Lego piece to step on. It involves a ballistic foot gel.

Some questions keep you awake at night. For me, I wonder how long I have left on this earth before something terrible happens to me. I'm a happy, go-lucky person. Nate Scovill's burning question was, however, much more simple: Which Lego hurts most to step on when you step on it?

Scovill decided that there was no other option but to go scientific (via Hackaday). They could have stepped on some Lego to judge the results but they didn't want their feet to be on camera. If I'm going be on Wikifeet on my terms, that's what I want to do."

This video has a Wikifeet storyline, but you'll have to watch it yourself to find out what happens. We're talking sciencehere, people. Scovill began by creating a system that could approximate his own weight. The arm would slam the Lego brick, with cardboard squares at the end, to record the "gradient of damages."

Initial results were promising. The pointy top of the wizard's cap and its stable base allowed it to penetrate surprisingly well. Scoville was most frightened by an old Lego wheel that is no longer in production because it could be dangerous to your feet.

On one side, there is a metal wheel that when placed upside down punched a hole in the cardboard test rig. Scoville also notes that the metal is prone rusting and adds "toxic damage".

Scoville did not stop there. Inspired by Mythbuster, Scoville created a ballistics gel shoe. Unfortunately, the zip ties at the end of Scoville's test rig damaged the foot in ways that were not intended. Scoville had no choice but to place the foot on top the Lego piece and slap the bar.

Scientific method, destroyed. Well, not really. The ballistics Gel foot proved vulnerable to the horrors of pointy Lego. Some pieces were embedded in the soles in a manner familiar to anyone who has jumped around in the living room on a Sunday with a piece of a toy in their feet.

Let's watch the video and see what happens. You may not be aware of the fact that you can step on something even worse in a darkened room if you are not from the UK: a standard UK plug turned upside down.

Even looking at the image makes me wince. Anyway, I salute you, Lego science extraordinaire. You've gone to places that others would be afraid to tread.
