Under $1,200 to get a 16-inch RTX gaming laptop? Yes, that's a Black Friday Deal
It's almost unheard of to save nearly $600 on a gaming notebook powered by a Nvidia RTX-4070, but the Lenovo Slim 5 Gen 9 has been reduced from its $1,770 list price to $1,180. Alienware's m16R2 is the closest we've come to a discount during this Black Friday period, but it's still almost $100 more expensive. We have them next to each other on our live gaming laptop hub, where we are constantly adding the best discounted lappys. It's easy to tell why the Lenovo Slim is such a good deal.
The Alienware comes with dual-channel RAM, but the Lenovo Slim still makes a great buy, despite having only one stick of RAM. This is largely due to the magical RTX 4700 and Ryzen 7 7735HS combination. The list of features doesn't end there.

The Lenovo Slim 5 is equipped with a powerful CPU and GPU. It also has a 165-Hz panel that ensures smooth frames and a 1-TB SSD, so you can play all your favorite games in one 16-inch screen.
The Slim's size should not be a problem for transportation. Lenovo machines may not be known for their incredible gaming battery life but if you plug them in, you'll discover what portable gaming is about... sitting still, not talking to anyone and being tethered a wall. Wait...
Lenovo is a frequent feature on our list of the best gaming laptops. These are reliable machines. We haven't tested this model, but we loved the previous generation of Slim 5 gaming notebooks.
It's a pity Lenovo chose single-channel memory in this machine. However, it is possible to upgrade the RAM if you feel like it. If you only plan to use it for non-CPU intensive gaming, then one 16 GB stick should be enough.
