Jon St John will say whatever you want on TikTok in the Duke Nukem Voice

Jon St John is instantly recognisable to gamers of a certain age. His Duke Nukem performance is legendary. He delivered lines like "Your face, Your ass, What's the Difference?" The gravelly intensity of "Nobody steals out chicks... or lives" is a testament to his performance.

It was a pleasant surprise to discover today that Jon is taking requests on his TikTok page. He's been reading out any commenter's line in the classic Duke voice for a few days now, like a free and chaotic version Cameo. It's just the latest in a long line of Duke-like activity on the platform.

It's filthy, but that's in keeping with Duke. If you have ever wanted to hear Mr Nukem utter phrases like "This guy eats the corn the long way", or "I'm straightjorken it", or "When the manager makes a million, I make a dollar, that's the reason I crank my hog on the company truck", you can now do so. And hey, you can also leave a comment and he will probably read your nonsense. Please don't force him to talk about Skibidi Toilet.

I also missed the fact that Jon has a Duke Nukem "Duppet" which he uses to deliver even more one-liners. I was tempted to joke that he had a lot of free time after the series ended. But he is still very busy in the gaming world. In the past few years, he has appeared in Ion Fury and the This is the Police Series, as well as (regrettably), taken on the leading role in Postal 4 It just goes to show that there will always be a role in this industry for someone who can say anything with a straight-face.
